MemoPlayer (the “Company”) regards the protection of users’ personal information as extremely important. The Company makes every effort to ensure that any personal information provided online by users in connection with the use of the Company’s services is kept secure. Accordingly, the Company complies with all applicable laws governing personal data protection—such as the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection—as well as the Personal Information Handling Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Information and Communication. Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs users how their personal information is collected, for what purposes it is used, and what measures are in place to safeguard it.


The Company’s Privacy Policy may be amended at any time in response to changes in government laws or guidelines or internal policy updates. The Company has established procedures to ensure continuous improvement of this Policy. Whenever the Policy is revised, the Company will publish notice of the changes—clearly indicating the effective date—at least seven (7) days before the revisions take effect so that users can easily review them.

A. Consent to Collection of Personal Information

The Company provides users with an option to click “Agree” or “Cancel” regarding this Privacy Policy (or the Terms of Use). Clicking “Agree” will be deemed as the user’s consent to the collection of personal information.


B. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

“Personal Information” refers to any information about a living individual that can identify that person, such as name or national ID number. The Company will not disclose personal information without the user’s prior consent. Collected data are used as follows:

1. Service Improvement & Development: To develop more useful services based on the personal information provided by users.

2. Provision to Third Parties:

   - Recipients: Advertising platforms (e.g., Google AdMob)

   - Purpose: Use of advertising ID for ad delivery

   - Retention Period: One year

3. Collection Purposes by Data Type:

   - Advertising ID: Used for error analysis and ad operations


C. Items and Methods of Personal Information Collection

- Advertising ID: Automatically collected by the advertising platform when the app is used.


D. Retention and Use Period of Collected Personal Information

The Company retains users’ personal information for as long as they remain members and uses it to provide the Service. If a member requests deletion or withdraws, the Company will permanently erase the data so that it cannot be restored. However, to prevent reoccurrence of fraudulent activity by problematic users, the Company may retain their information for one year following withdrawal.


E. Sharing and Provision of Collected Personal Information

The Company uses personal information only within the scope described in Section B. Without the user’s prior consent, the Company will not use or disclose personal information beyond that scope.


F. Consignment of Personal Information Processing

For service enhancement, the Company may outsource personal information processing to external experts. In such cases, the Company will notify users in advance and enter into contracts that stipulate compliance with the Company’s instructions, confidentiality obligations, prohibition on third-party provision, and liability for any incidents.


G. Collection of Opinions and Handling of Complaints Concerning Personal Information

The Company collects users’ feedback on personal data protection and has procedures in place to address complaints. Users may send complaints via email to the Personal Information Protection Officer (see Section H) and will receive a prompt response. Users may also file complaints with government bodies such as:

H. Personal Information Protection Officer

The Company endeavors to ensure users’ safe use of information. In the event of any incident contrary to this Policy, the Personal Information Protection Officer will assume responsibility.

I. Duty of Notification
